This little one can be seen in our area but you need to stop for a while & look closely around the edges of a water storage. It is easy to miss them because your eyes go to the bigger birds. Thanks Ian & Chris along with WL&S.

Thanks to the team at the Winton Cafe & Events for a wonderful evening on Monday 11th May 2026. Our Landcare Group hosted a Problem Weeds Seminar with guest speakers Jason Roberts (Biosecurity Officer, Agriculture Victoria), Patrick O'Halloran (DEECA Hume, Winton Wetlands Manager) and Damien Carpenter, (Agronomist with AIRR Group). The food was great and the venue was perfect to accomodate our 40 guests. We will be back.

This little one should be possible to see in the treetops if you are outside at night, a torch would be helpful.
