My exhibition gives a nod to our rich cultural history and the inspiration we draw from artists that have influenced our perception on colour, light, movement and expression. It’s also a privilege to have my work in a historical building created in 1892 by James Hunter Lawson

Wow! I’ve just had a wonderful experience meeting Karl Bush from the UK. Karl is an art professional previously working in the Tate gallery. He’s handled works by Picasso, Turner, Mondrian and Rodin. To speak with someone so passionate about the great masters and arts has certainly been a great surprise!

Throughout the process of painting for my upcoming exhibition I have created my own colour palette for Parrots that live in the Blue Mountains. I've fallen in love with the whole process of making something from my imagination into reality. 6 weeks to go and details are coming soon!

Hiking 60km on an adventure is exhilarating! Grant and I made it from Apollo Bay to the 12 Apostles across 3 days. Comfort zones are frightening if you stay in them too long. Stepping outside of them challenged us both mentally and physically 💪

For the past 3 years I have been studying watercolour painting with David Wardman in Katoomba. One of the first lessons he teaches is how to 'Learn to See'.

So recently I interviewed and filmed him speaking about this, and providing a demonstration of how learning to see can change your approach in painting an object.

David runs small watercolour workshops and if learning to paint is something that interest you, I highly recommend you contact him.

I’m so happy to be selected for the BIRDLAND Exhibition at the Blue Mountains Héritage Centre from the 27th June.

My entry is two rainbow lorikeets - very prominent Australian birds living in the Blue Mountains.
I had a lovely day at Surry Hills markets. The weather was beautiful, lots of people out and about and my cards, books, prints and original artwork found their new homes 🌸💕🌸
