✨ What a night. What a team. What a festival. ✨
Southern Lights Festival 2026 was something truly special — and it happened because of the incredible young people who stepped up, worked together and made it real.
From audio and lighting to visuals, performance, media and production, this festival was built by teams of young creatives who showed up, supported each other and delivered something far beyond expectations. The energy, the professionalism, the creativity — it was all there.
Every moment was the result of collaboration, commitment and a willingness to try something new. That’s what makes this project so powerful.
We couldn’t be prouder of what these young people achieved. This is what happens when you back the next generation. 💥
(Check the photos of each team and the performers and the whole crew together!)

Southern Lights Festival is delivered in partnership with the Bioluminescence Project, Candelo Arts Society, Griffith University, RMIT and the Yuin Folk Club (Cobargo Folk Festival), with support from Destination NSW and assisted by the Australian Government through Creative Australia, its principal arts investment and advisory body.
