This couple didn't plan to stay for the whole reception 😏

~
Gabs & Braydon told me they planned to dip out and Irish exit their own wedding. Unfortunately, the vibes were too good and they hung around until the very end!

This couple said they're pretty low key... 🤔
~ ~ ~
J + M didn't do a grand entrance.
They almost didn't have a first dance.

I didn't know what to expect from the dance floor but over dinner I watched the crowd, I chatted with guests about music and got to learn what would work.

The dance floor that resulted was a wild journey. I flipped my uplights from white to party mode and brought out the foam party sticks and tambourines. The uplights really elevate a reception space; adding elegance over dinner and then making it feel more like a party during the dance floor! They looked stunning against the logs at The Hayshed 😍 and the foam light sticks/tambourines are great, especially if you're a bit more awkward on the dance floor cause it gives your hands something to do!There wasn't a single point where the dance floor was empty. It cycled through different groups and generations but it was non stop from start to finish. This is one for the books! 🔥

I recently spoke to the Western Advocate about my brother, his legacy and how I knew we had to sponsor Out Of Touch Netball Club's Mighty Ducks team with my other business Firecracker Photobooths.

TAG AN EMO/METALHEAD WHO IS OVERDUE FOR A NIGHT OUT 🤟

So, I've been asked to play the *after party* for the 90s/00s Rock Revival Night at The 1880 as well! It's Saturday, 30th of May.

There's a ticket link at linktr.ee/Djsheybx

I'll be starting at 7:30pm playing before and between the bands. So keen to hear Ska-ramouche, Time To Be Frank and K'nOath.

After the last band, I'll be taking over until close 😍

If enough of my emos and metalcore friends are there at midnight I'd love to bring some Hot Damn/Emo Nite vibes before I get silly. Let's start a moshpit 🤟

Might move on to some rock remixes, party hits, EDM, techno and dubstep. I have no idea where my adhd and the crowd will go that night so join me on the journey!

If the emo stuff goes well, who knows, it could lead to more in the future 👀
