Congratulations to Miss Ellen on getting married yesterday! 💍👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️
Our dancers got to enjoy performing for Ellen and her husband and their guests. We also welcomed, Anna, a friend of Ellen’s, to perform at the beautiful venue.

This week has been bittersweet here at MHDA. We said farewell to a family who are embarking on an overseas move. From teaching their first pas de basques about 3 years ago, we bid farewell with an impromptu learning of the Barracks Johnnie, a more advanced dance. We hope to see these boys dancing overseas soon!
Then later in the week, we competed at the Lithgow Thistle highland dance competition! We’re so grateful for a competition closer to home!
It was some of our primary dancers’ first time competing and boy did they have fun! We can’t wait to see them at the next one! Congratulations all dancers on a wonderful competition today! And a special shout out to Emmeline who placed in all her dances and brought home a 1st in the trophy fling.
