Thank you to everyone who came along to DEPTH over the weekend. It was an incredible exhibition filled with talent, creativity, and a wonderful variety of work. It was inspiring to see so many people engaging with the art, sharing their perspectives, and taking part in meaningful conversations throughout the show.

A huge thank you to all the artists, organisers, and visitors who helped make the exhibition such a memorable experience. The energy in the room, the diversity of ideas, and the connections made through art were truly special.

LAST DAY to experience DEPTH 🌊

This morning is your final chance to visit our pop-up exhibition at FOAM Café, Trigg before the exhibition closes.

I’ve loved every conversation, every connection and seeing people spend real time sitting with the artworks and discovering their own interpretations within them. That’s honestly been one of the most meaningful parts of this exhibition for me — watching people slow down, reflect and emotionally connect to the work in their own personal way.

DEPTH has been a celebration of atmosphere, landscape, memory, emotion and the many layers that exist beneath the surface. Every artist brought something completely different to the space, yet together the exhibition feels deeply connected through storytelling, texture and shared human experience.

If you missed opening night, this morning is the perfect opportunity to come by for a coffee, wander through the exhibition and experience the works in the softer morning light beside the ocean.

Saturday 7th June
7:30am–12:30pm
FOAM Café, Trigg

I’ll be there all morning and would genuinely love to chat with you about the paintings, inspiration and creative process behind the works.

Thank you so much to everyone who has already supported this exhibition — it truly means the world 💙

TONIGHT 🌊✨

DEPTH officially opens tonight from 5pm–8pm at FOAM Café, Trigg and I honestly cannot wait to finally share these works in person.

This exhibition is all about what exists beneath the surface — within landscapes, emotions, memory, atmosphere and human experience. Each artist has interpreted the theme in such a unique and powerful way, and together the works create this really immersive, thoughtful and emotional experience.

For me personally, my paintings in this exhibition explore the feeling of standing within a landscape and becoming emotionally connected to it — those moments where light, texture, movement and place stay with you long after you leave.

There’s something really special about seeing art in person that photos can never fully capture — the textures, scale, layering, brush marks and energy of the work completely change when you stand in front of it.

So if you’re looking for something inspiring to do tonight:
✨ sunset over the ocean
✨ local contemporary art
✨ drinks & nibble plates
✨ live music vibes
✨ meaningful conversations
✨ one weekend only

Come down, say hello, bring a friend and immerse yourself in an evening celebrating creativity, connection and the beauty of our coastal landscapes.

I’ll be there all night and would absolutely love to see some familiar faces 💙

DEPTH opens TOMORROW 🌊✨

After months of painting, planning, layering, experimenting, reflecting and creating… this beautiful little pop-up exhibition finally comes to life tomorrow night at FOAM Cafe at Trigg Beach.

DEPTH brings together a group of incredibly talented local artists, all exploring the idea of “depth” in completely different ways — through emotion, atmosphere, memory, landscape, texture, storytelling and connection. Every piece in this exhibition has something personal behind it, and I think that’s what makes this show feel so immersive and special.

I’ll be exhibiting a select collection of my works inspired by the emotional connection I feel to landscape, travel, atmosphere and those quiet moments where nature makes you stop and feel completely present.

Opening Night:
Friday 6th June
5pm–8pm
FOAM Café, Trigg

There’ll be drinks, nibble plates, sunset views over the ocean, amazing conversations — honestly such a beautiful way to spend a Friday evening.

This is a ONE WEEKEND ONLY exhibition, so if you’ve been wanting to come see my work in person, this is the perfect opportunity. I’ll be there all evening and would genuinely love to chat with you about the artworks and creative process.

I have some exciting news — Journey’s End is now being released as a hand-embellished limited edition artist print.

Each print is part of a limited edition of only 50, individually hand-finished in the studio, allowing every piece to retain the texture, movement, and painterly presence of the original work.

Journey’s End was born from my experience of reaching Emma Gorge — a hidden sanctuary carved deep within the ancient Cockburn Ranges of the Kimberley. Towering sandstone walls rise around cool, shimmering water, where a slender veil of falling water softens the rugged permanence of the landscape.

What stayed with me most was the feeling of arrival — the transition from harsh red earth into an oasis of shadow, fern-lined crevices, and stillness. A place where endurance and fragility exist side by side.

In this work, I explore that tension between the solidity of rock that records deep geological time and the fleeting movement of light dancing across water in the present moment.

I’m so pleased to share that this work has found its way into a collector’s home — a place where it will continue its life beyond the studio walls.

Creating this piece was a deeply immersive experience. It depicts Galvans Gorge, a hidden natural oasis where water and rock meet in a quiet, enduring rhythm. This is a place that holds an incredible sense of presence — carved over time, softened by water, and shaped by thousands of years of natural movement and human connection. Long before it was ever painted, it was already a place of gathering, rest, and reverence.

What stayed with me most while working on this piece was not just its visual beauty, but its atmosphere — the stillness held within the movement of water, the way the rock forms seem to cradle the pool as if protecting something sacred. There is a sense of sanctuary there, as though the landscape itself offers refuge.

In painting it, I was drawn to that balance between strength and softness — the weight of ancient stone against the fluidity of water, the permanence of geology against the fleeting presence of those who pass through. I wanted to hold that tension within my own visual language, allowing texture, abstraction, and colour to echo the emotional experience of being there rather than just the physical view.

My hope is that this work continues to carry that feeling forward — bringing a sense of calm, refuge, and connection to nature into its new space. A reminder of stillness, of grandeur, and of the quiet places in the world that hold us when we pause long enough to notice them.
