Announcement!

The winner of Folded Festival 2025's day in the studio is - OAA!

OAA hails from Ballina Coast High School and his performance blew us away on Saturday afternoon.

His skills have earned him a free day of recording with none other than Ham Blacket (Drop Legs) at his local studio Ten37 Records.

We can't wait to hear what comes out of it 💘 Watch this space.

Today's spotlight - The Grannie Smyths!

The Grannie Smyths are a self-proclaimed 'sweetly sour' band of four female musicians from Byron Bay High.

Influenced by the likes of Radiohead, Hole, The Sundays, and The Cranberries, The Grannies will share their great taste with our Folded crowd this Saturday.

Another Folded 2025 artiste to look forward to - Tenpackscrewdriver!

The experimental rock trio formed in year ten via their shared love for performing mind-bending music pieces. Their sound is inspired by the work of bands like Tool, Royal Blood and Liminal.

TPS have mesmerised on stages at Bluesfest Byron Bay and Thrillfest Battle of the Bands, and are now bringing their show to Folded this Saturday!

September 20th is just around the corner!

And in some exciting news - we've had a new addition to the Folded Festival lineup. The Grannie Smyths from Byron High will now join to tear up the stage - and we couldn't be more hyped.

They'll join the iconic Eliza & The Delusionals and the rest of our killer lineup of local acts on the 20th.

Can't wait to see you all there - friends and family are all welcome to come have a free boogie, skate and BBQ at Ballina Skatie.

Another artist spotlight for your Sunday arvie - say hey to The Rays!

The four piece from Lismore High are inspired by the likes of Paramore and Muse, composing their original tunes like 'Gone Again,' which captures the feelings of lost time and the endless question of 'what if things were different?'

They've played Bluesfest and School Spectacular - now you can them on the stage at Ballina Skatepark in two weeks' time!

Ezrah, aka OAA, is a young upcoming artist who has his roots in folk and reggae, combining engaging songwriting with a love of groove.

True to his Māori heritage, he enjoys connecting to audiences through the use of his voice and storytelling.

The group's sound - inspired by iconic bands like Grinspoon, Wolfmother, and early Silverchair - is a perfect blend of aggressive riffs, thundering drums, and soulful lyrics.

Their songs resonate with a sense of rebellion and youthful exuberance. We're excited to see Da Manager have got on Sept 20!!
