It was like a fantastic family reunion at the Black Bear last night with Scott Schilling and Marty, Shane Scanlan, Alan Brown - I can't believe any band anywhere has a more loyal core of followers. Thanks all who attended. I'm really looking forward to catching up with more of you today at the Tweed Heads Civic Centre. A remider that gig times are NSW times. 50 Years ago Dave Warner's from the Suburbs played our first gig. Howie Johnstone was behind the kit and he will be once more tonight The Bridge Hotel when we kick off at 8 PM - 2 full sets with original material spanning 50 years. No Leopard or One Armed Bandit or Mr Calista (from the film clip here) but Scarpa Flow will be joining for the finale at the Astor Theatre Perth, Oct 24. And of course my wonderful mate Tony 'New Boy' Durant who played on the original demos in Cambridge in 1975 and then joined the band in 1977 by emigrating to Aus will be there. Still tix so come and be part of rock history - it's going fast.

Probably not, history of punk and new wave in Aus has largely wiped us from history's slate. But just a reminder of what Pus was doing back in 1973 and the Suburbs coninued from 1976.
