Everything is fresh and showing signs of a wonderful summer to come.

We all have a mentor,, a personal hero who saves you from disaster. An influential protector who guides you through the formative years, through the teenage blues and teaches you how to be a good person. For some it's an older sibling, some have a family friend or a junior coach of some description. For some it's a combination of people.
For me. I was blessed to spend a half decade short of half of my fathers 80 years here on earth.. The unconditional love and support I've received from my father/friend/mentor (and a magnificent grandfather) for all my years ended yesterday when my dad passed away. It's a sad occasion but I wanted to share how blessed I've been and how proud I am to call myself his daughter.
Thank you Pa, you were an exceptionally faithful husband (he loved Ma), a man of unimpeachable morals and a father who did what he needed to do so his children (blood and step) had a fantastic upbringing. You will be missed.
