🚤 THE DAY HAS FINALLY ARRIVED! 🚤

After what feels like a lifetime of blood, sweat, tears… and more late nights in the shed than we’d like to admit, Billy and Scott are officially heading to Northam for the 2026 Avon Descent!

It’s been a huge journey to get here. There have been busted knuckles, plenty of colourful language, countless “this’ll only take five minutes” jobs that somehow lasted until midnight, and enough tinkering to drive everyone slightly insane.

To our incredible wives and amazing kids… thank you. ❤️
Thanks for putting up with the late nights, the grumpy husbands, the constant boat talk, the weekends consumed by racing, and for cheering us on every step of the way. We genuinely couldn’t do this without your love, patience and endless support.

A massive shout-out also goes to our awesome sponsors:
VDS - Vermeer Diesel Services 🧑‍🔧
Adrift Brewery 🍻

Thank you for believing in two blokes with a dream, helping keep this adventure afloat financially, keeping us well hydrated, and decking us out with some seriously cool merch. Your support means the world, and we honestly wouldn’t be lining up at the start without you.

Thanks Brown ( Abby Brown - please tag rod) - for being an absolute legend and putting your hand up to be our support crew

Now all that’s left to do is point the boat downstream, try not to hit too many trees… and hopefully bring it home in one piece! 😂

Wish us luck, and we’ll see you all on the other side!

Ever just look at your wife and wonder how she has the patience to do the things she does - between mum life, wife life and all the “life’ing” in between (mainly keeping husbands alive .. which is a task in itself)
Check out the concentration on Scott’s wife’s face - she’s LOCKED in .. making cakes is passion and boy does she do an amazing job
This is Katie - 1 of the lovey wives of DSDD
Mum of 4 amazing boys also
What a legend
