Well, you're in luck, because the Sonos Playbar has arrived, packing all of Sonos' streaming capabilities you know and love in a soundbar form factor. Inside, there are nine speakers - six midrange and three tweeters, which are positioned under the mesh to provide a wide sound stage and angled so that the audio spread is uniform no matter where you position the Playbar.

You can opt for above the TV, below it, on the wall or on a table in front of the television and it will detect the differing positions you put it in using an accelerometer and automatically recalibrate the speakers accordingly.
