A wonderful day at Sinkatinny Downs for the Lawn Sale and Folk Bonanza.
Many thanks to Nerys Evans for her generosity and endless support.
Ross Muir handled the sound perfectly as always.
Twisted Teasooon team Lyn and Laura made lovely coffees.
Our folk team did a great job with sales and BBQ...

Many bargains were found, smiles given, moments shared.

The THFF’s 2026 patron, Nerys Evans, is not only a folk music icon, but also an art lover! The unique art collection she and the late Ted Egan amassed is up for sale, with proceeds going towards a music scholarship in Ted’s name in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Alice Springs. This is your opportunity to own a piece of local folk history and support the future of local music. The collection is available for viewing on the afternoon of Saturday 19th September with the auction live from 2pm Sunday 20 September.

East of West put on an exquisite performance last night at the night markets.
Their music takes you on a mind journey, to exotic places or solitary spaces. I felt so relaxed and centred after their performance, free of the tyranny of lyrics!
