May 4th marks International Firefighters’ Day, held on the feast day of St Florian — the Patron Saint of Firefighters.

St Florian is recognised as one of the first commanders of a firefighting unit in the Roman Empire. He gave his life, along with his fellow colleagues, while protecting the same values that continue to guide firefighters around the world today.

At Fire Engine Number 7, we’re proud to be a part of that legacy. And we extend our sincere thanks to all emergency services personnel for your courage, commitment, and dedication to serving your communities every single day.
