Hi everyone.

Heading into the weekend, I proudly offer up our production of the Udayan, Barrackpore anthem 2025 for your viewing and sharing.

15 years ago we wrote and recorded with the students in 2010 as a gift to the founder reverend James, with support form the Steve Waugh Foundation .

We returned in October this year to re-record and film a brand new version to celebrate 55 years of Udayan with our own non for profit MusiKarma
The kids at Udayan are either directly or though through family members, ostracized and marginalized by the disease leprosy which makes their futures extremely challenging.
Udayan helps create education, health facilities and a place to live for many of these kids in their efforts to rise above the stigma of the disease.

This production is even more special for us, as the workshop was guided by Das and Naskar who run our academy. They have up skilled in audio and video production over the last decade and are now able to produce quality like this.
It makes me so proud that Mel and I were able to be 'second wheels' to them
as they took charge of everyone. I have often spoken of leaving a legacy in life and now finally, I am happy to know MusoMagic is in safe hands in India

If you would like to help us further with our charity , we welcome your inquiry on how you can help us to help these kids and others we work with, have a brighter and healthier future.

Please DM us for details or contact [email protected] for more information.

Love AT.

Hey team,

I’m so excited to share some massive news — ‘What Do We Tell The Kids’ has been selected as a finalist in the 2025 Environmental Music Prize.

This song has always been more than a release for me. It grew from our time in remote Indigenous communities, from conversations with young people who are inheriting the world we’re shaping right now, and from the deep responsibility I feel as I enter the parenthood journey.

Being shortlisted for this prize means that message resonated — and now we have a chance to amplify it on a national and global stage.

This team brought the song to life — from the stunning orchestral arrangement with the Queensland Youth Orchestra, to the production, mixing, filming, story-building, and emotional labour behind it. The song exists because of all of you.

And now, together, we have the chance to push this message further than ever before.

Thank you for every bit of belief, love and energy you’ve put behind my work. I’m genuinely so proud of what we’ve created, and I can’t wait to see how far we can take it.

With love and gratitude,

Laura xOx

For so many years we created positive songs and videos to assist the maturation and community awareness of the young people in Port Pirie South Australia. It was some of the most wonderfully rewarding times for MusoMagic, and the kids who helped create them and I know helped many to become the positive men and women they are today.

This video was almost prophetic of how much bullying would impact the world from online trolls. When we created this it was more or less immature teenagers who didn't have the capacity to reason or be tolerant of differences. Now it is so much more wide spread into 'adult' behaviour which says much about us as humans.

Back in 2012/13/14 we did lots of events in South Australia.
Some of our favourites were in Port Lincoln on the Eyre Peninsula
at Lincoln Movie Theatre.
Kids from all the schools came together under the united banner of writing and recording a positive shared affirmation for life in song and video. Some of these kids have their own families now, and we know how much the experience helped shape them, as we still get so many messages years after.
Unlike reality TV programmes, we base these events on contribution, involvement and acceptance, values I still hold as principles today. As you can see by the kids faces and body language.. it works.

'Put your trust in me everybody. Put your trust in me'.
