Botanicals We are an Albany group of botanical artists - working on all levels, from practicing to aspiring!

We meet weekly for friendship, support, and learning, and hold occasional exhibitions to showcase our artwork.

So nice to be back together again after our Christmas break. Still missing a couple, but basically Botanicals are back on deck 😊

Today we had some Show-and-Tell... Kates Summer School miniatures and Vicki-Annes colour chart... and Abigail went over the use of various mediums, and sea salt, for watercolour effects (details in photos).

Special coffee break today too, involving Kate's birthday cake ☕️ 🎂 😏👌

We're having a couple of weeks off for Christmas now... and we'll be starting back on the 7th January 2026.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas, and good health and happiness for the coming year.

Great session yesterday, as always... and quite a crowd, as we were only missing a couple of our members. Much catching up happening 😊... and a lot of work accomplished (not all of it being strictly speaking Botanical 😏)

Next week will be our 'bring a plate ' Christmas breakup 🎅 then 2 weeks off... being Xmas Eve and then New Years Eve 🎄
Then we're back to normal sessions.
