The Adelaide Summer Orchestra would like to congratulate Nicholas Braithwaite. The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra has made him Conductor Laureate which is a well-deserved award for a wonderful conductor
In January 2022, on the 16th, in the Norwood Concert Hall, you can come and hear him work miracles with the Summer Orchestra ! Shostakovich - Symphony No. 5 and Piano Concerto No.2 with pianist, Michael Ierace.

**Calling all musicians**

The next concert is in the Norwood Concert Hall, Sunday January 16th, 7.00 - 8.00pm

Shostakovich is the star with his Piano Concerto No. 2, followed by his Symphony No. 5. Both brilliant works and a concert not to be missed.

The pianist is Michael Ierace and Nicholas Braithwaite will be conducting the orchestra. People who were at last years performance of Shostakovich’s “October” will remember it as an exciting work, so too is the Fifth symphony. A concert not to be missed !

This is also an invitation to musicians that applications to join the orchestra are now open - application forms are on-line.

Tickets will be available on-line (opens December 1).
