Alton Theatre Productions is officially starting to produce it's first show!
Some background information, at this point in time, Alton Theatre Productions (ATP) is a one-person project, but I am certainly seeking out some of my fellow theatre friends to help me along this journey.
Here's a little sneak peek at what has been happening in the office lately surrounding the inaugural Alton Theatre Productions show!
1. Script development. The first script is underway, and it is full of everything you could want in a stage play; drama, romance, angst, betrayal and of course a twist at the end that I can assure you wouldn't be able to predict!
2. Social Media preparation. Of course, I have been setting up social media accounts, ATP can now be found on Facebook and Instagram ( on Instagram) and at this point in time I am working towards producing content surrounding the operation of the company and getting scripts written and produced.
3. Stage Planning. As well as planning a script, I am beginning to envision how it would look on an actual stage, where would I want set pieces? How would I want certain characters to interact? Etc. etc.
I look forward to this journey and I hope to see my creations come to life in ways that can excite and capture not only an audience, but also an ensemble of actors.
