The Collective SA The Collective SA is a multi disciplinary production haus dealing with live Community events & film/TV. The Collective - how it began.

In early 2024 a group of creatives came together to present a production of a lifetime (literally) with minimal time and the utmost consideration required, Elaine Crombie created ‘ The Final Love Letter’ - an ode to her mother, the great and late Lillian Crombie. This farewell production featured an Allstar cast of well known and celebrated artists coordinated by a team of people that learned that

their combined skills and effort could create and deliver projects and bodies of work with great spirit, skill and success. With the dream to continue to work together we have formed ‘The Collective’. The Collective - how we work. The Collective members can be engaged as a team to deliver events and productions. This includes designing events with cultural content, hosting events, engaging talent, production logistics, sourcing funding and running promotions. Between us all we have a wide range of networks and connections. We have a shared vision to deliver powerful, meaningful projects from NAIDOC week events to national festivals to assisting with campaigns that reach out to the Mob. Our focus is community and the arts. Storytelling and education. Within the collective we all have projects on the go - so we use this shared space to encourage and enhance each other as people and as artists. The Collective is driven and directed by First Nations knowledge and expertise with strong community networks across Australia. You can engage the collective to design an event, or part of an event, including meetings, award ceremonies and programs. We can help grow an idea and achieve your vision. Get in touch with any of the creatives below to discuss your project or idea.

It is with our deepest respect & sorrow we pay our condolences to Aunty Rhoda’s family in their time of mourning.

Rhoda Roberts was a trail blazer, strong, staunch industry icon and First Nations cultural leader Rhoda Roberts AO.

A proud Widjabul Wieybal woman of the Bundjalung Nation, she was a writer, actor, director, artistic director, dramaturg, advocate and cultural advisor. Her hard work and her heart work will echo for generations to come.
The cultural, the art, the love, the speaking and uplifting others when they’re nowhere to be seen. We have a plethora of feathers to pick from her cap.

The online memorial that has happened over the last few days is inspiring. The blueprint is forming in front of our eyes of what we should aspire to be like, how we should carry ourselves in rooms that we belong in because of Aunty Rhoda’s tireless work.

Aunty, thank you for everything x
