On Episode 3 of Back of Bourke we uncover some genuinely unnerving evidence, including this song by C Cobbler Chaseman.
There are legends about this song being haunted. Its lyrics contain references to Back of Bourke Ritual and allude to people being ‘taken by a ghostly swagman’ and ‘end[ing] up Back o’ Bourke’.

We discuss the legend of Oct-forgotten bush balladeer C Cobbler Chaseman and his legendarily spooky story, you can also read through two separate letters of the Rural Shire Council to a possible producer of Back of Bourke, we get our hands on an old VHS which appears to hold some significant information about the Show’s history - including three possible episode titles, a source uncovers a document with a location shooting list.

The Bourke between channels is a legend that those who are ‘haunted’ by Back of Bourke see a static shot of a Welcome to Bourke sign and an Outback scene on their televisions when changing channels or appearing at random times, it seems as though no one is able to get footage of it.
