During the winter months of 2016, the longstanding idea of creating a one-day fest in Adelaide that's dedicated to traditional forms of heavy metal & rock n' roll was put into motion. Inspired by the great Australian festivals such as Steel Assassins, Stormrider & Legions of Steel it was time for McEwen M&T to really wield the steel in the 'City of Churches' and start an annual event to support tr

ad/speed/power/prog/thrash and the melodic sides of Metal so CHURCHES OF STEEL was born. We are also excited to announce a management and bookings sector for the following artists: Hidden Intent & Firestorm - cheers maniacs!
