✨ One week to go! We're looking forward to seeing you next week on Good Friday at Pilgrim Uniting Church. We've been overwhelmed by the amount of support and RSVPs we've received so far.

🎼 To bring you closer to the music, here's an insight from soprano Jessica Dean on what you can expect to hear:

"This piece really is a meditation on grief and hope, expressed through this beautiful intimate dialogue between the two voices. The soprano line embodies Mary’s personal grief as she watches her son crucified—there’s an immediacy and rawness to that expression, alongside moments that reach toward light and transcendence.

Together, the voices move through tension and resolution, and it’s in that interplay that the emotional heart of the piece really emerges."

🎻Next concert: coming up this April! 🎻

We’re making our 2026 return with a poignant performance of Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater on Good Friday at Pilgrim Uniting Church, in the heart of the city on Kaurna land.

Join us for a deeply moving, meditative evening, as we explore this 18th-century musical modernisation of the medieval religious text depicting Mary’s deep grief at the crucifixion of her son, Jesus.

Hear Baroque music on period instruments, paired with heavenly voices from renowned Adelaide-based vocalists and early music exponents, Jessica Dean and Catriona Barr.

Plus, with Ben Dollman, one of Australia’s leading performers of Baroque violin, directing the ensemble, you can expect world-class artistry.
