We are currently casting for this year's production of '๐—” ๐—–๐—ต๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜๐—บ๐—ฎ๐˜€ ๐—–๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—น' at Theater Spielraum. For over 40 years now, this annual production of the Victorian classic has been a fixture at Christmas time in Vienna.

Auditions will be held in Vienna on ๐Ÿฏ๐—ฟ๐—ฑ & ๐Ÿฐ๐˜๐—ต ๐—ข๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฒ

9th-23rd December 2026, Theater Spielraum. Expected to be 2 shows a day, 1 of which will be for school groups.

Rehearsals: 9th November-9th December.

-Must be based in/near Vienna.
-Professional training and/or experience.
-Native English speaker or near-native speaker level.
-Confident with British accents (RP and Cockney. The role of Scrooge requires RP only).
-Can sing to a high standard and move well.

๐—ฆ๐—ฐ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—ด๐—ฒ- playing age 50-60, any gender. Must be a strong character actor. Only RP required for this role.

Thanks to everyone who submitted their 10-minute plays to our first-ever international 10-minute play competition, โ€œOpen Stage: Open Storiesโ€!๐Ÿ“–๐ŸŽญ

So what does "Open Stage: Open Stories" actually mean? Well, the intentionally vague-sounding concept is actually the heart of this competition. We are expecting a wide variety of plays in terms of genre, theme, and staging. But here's the catch.
