Through November 8 you can see "Inspired" at the Artists Center in Palm Desert on Hwy 111 and El Paseo (near Whole Foods). There is art from 123 very talented artists that were selected by a Jury from outside of the area. So much art worth seeing! Check it out, put it on your calendar. :-) Very happy the jurors were inspired by my simple yet strong painting. All of my art includes upward movement and an optimistic vibe. I paint for everyone who has been knocked down in life, yet stood up again, so we can all remember to celebrate our resilience. Thank you to the Artists Council for hosting juried exhibits in Palm Desert.

Exploring colors, thinking about mixes, blends, combos, and harmonies. Considering a Palm Desert pallet to reflect this area…also considering an energetic electric pallet with more of a pop with a Palm Springs attitude. On Monday I’m receiving two new colors of acrylic. Colors I’ve never bought before. 🎨

The upward movement in my paintings symbolizes resilience. We’ve all been knocked down in life, and I like to remind all of us to celebrate our resilience. What matters is that we stand up again. RCAA Gallery

Setting up my workspace at the Artists Center in Palm Desert. Canvases + Paints + Tools + Brushes = Creative Epicenter! Very grateful to the AC for furnishing me with a workspace and funds for supplies to create a body of work for an exhibit in June.

I paint up lifting artwork to boost your mood with dramatic upward movement. My goal is to remind all of us to celebrate our resilience. We all get knocked down, sometimes. Already absorbing so much priceless knowledge and expertise from the team at the Artists Center in Palm Desert. Serving as the Creative Fellow starting this month. This is head curator, Merritt Price, capturing a picture of me for the selection announcement. He has some 40 years of experience in art and design! Love this place and all of the kind people here.
I paint optimistic artworks with acrylic paint on canvas using energetic upward movement to boost moods. For everyone who’s been knocked down in life, but stood back up again, my paintings serve as a reminder for all of us to celebrate our resilience.
