RIP to the legend Dolly Parton, an all round remarkable woman 🪽😍😇⭐️ I put together this little tribute of my favourite Dolly songs. Being the person that she was, she probably wouldn’t judge how I sang them, she’d just be grateful that we are spreading love through her music in the first place. 🥰

Tonight’s bedtime reading!
As soon as I heard about Julie Andrews and Emma Walton Hamilton’s new book, I knew I had to get it to honour my inner child; a shy little girl who came alive with music and dance, and of course it started with Julie Andrews singing The Sound Of Music.

I love the concept of this story and that it was inspired by Julie’s real singing dog! She clearly inspires all creatures to sing! 😆🤗

The premise of the story is to be brave and share your voice with the world and this is what Dame Julie told me when I was lucky enough to meet her many years ago.

There’s more to Dame Julie than Do Re Mi, so this is a nice way to have her legacy around and experience more of her work. 😍♥️🎶🎤

It’s World Princess Week!
I loved being my favourite one, Belle, at my mum’s Disney 50th 💛 She is so like me and I am so like her - craves adventure, loves reading and lives in her own way😍 To wear this gorgeous ballgown was a dream. And to top it off, so was dancing a ballroom dance to Beauty and the Beast. Video to come soon 🥰

Happy Black Cat Day! 🐈‍⬛
These creatures are so cool and I actually consider myself lucky if I get to see one. 🤗

Here’s a throwback to an Argentinian Tango routine I did a while back in a Halloween themed showcase. Such a fun dance to put together! I worked with our studio’s acting coach who was in a production of CATS the musical on this routine and he gave me some good pointers 😺

Funnily enough when I was up in the studio warming up for one of the lessons to work in this routine, I could see fluffy twin black cats downstairs! They were going in and out of the back door while their owner gave them food and was trying to figure out if they wanted to go in or out of the house. Then one put itself in the middle of the door frame, as cats do, to create more annoyance 🤣 I didn’t portray the silliness of cats in the routine but it was funny to watch!

August 15th is the Italian Ferragosto festival, a nationwide public holiday in Italy. 🇮🇹 It is historically a celebration to mark the peak of summer, along with having origins of Catholic traditions and ancient Roman roots. Now it has become a celebration of Italian history and culture.

This is me singing the chorus of my favourite Italian song of all time, O Sole Mio (My Sun) a few times during choir. Complete with my Sicilian tambourine 😍 I love that our group loves this Italian classic as well. 💚🤍♥️
