Fragmentos de la presentación de Entre Medio Ficciones Económicas en L’automàtica en Barcelona. 

Conversamos sobre economies de ficciones, ficciones de economies, lo verosímil, el cuerpo y el papel, el pensar en voz alta, lo que es realmente el tercer mundo (que es una ficción), la Escuela de Atenas, el diagrama como herramienta de pensar con diversidad, la tierra, y más temas entre medio.

Estamos en europa y el jueves presentamos Entre Medio en Barcelona. La primera en una serie de publicaciones que indagan trabajos en proceso, conversaciones y archivos de prácticas diversas. Un espacio liminal para pensar en voz alta. 

La edición trata sobre Ficciones económicas, una investigación de la curadora , centrada en un diagrama, que funciona como dispositivo retórico y cómo una herramienta para repensar las narrativas sobre y con el dinero.  

Hosted by Renata Demo (.papel), el evento tendrá lugar el jueves 21 de septiembre a las 19 horas en  (c/legalitat 18, Barcelona) con una charla entre Merlina Rañi y + tiempo para estar entre ficciones.

Imprimir un libro con 226 páginas de 5000+ lineas de código con la intención de leer (y escribir) como en cualquier libro nos lleva a preguntar ¿cómo es el ritmo de leer un código?

El ritmo del diseño, el ritmo de la gráfica, el ritmo de entender, el ritmo de no, el ritmo de tocar el corte del código, el ritmo de saltar por página, el ritmo de volver a otra página, el ritmo de capas arriba de código, el ritmo de código arriba de cuerpos, el ritmo de tu lectura, el ritmo de tu lectura otro día, el ritmo de estar en y con un libro de códigos.

El ritmo de imprimir un libro. El ritmo que ya está en proceso.

They are so smooth (and similar) we no longer need to explore: the objectives and objects are what count. And from what I see in the many responses emerging daily that are grappling with the current health crisis, at least in the calls for change and the predictions for the future, are caught up in this same web. How can we really change when we don’t even reach the roots of the problems in the first place? It may seem that we are free to create and propose solutions, but in reality it is all virtual, caught under the loop of the smoothness used to perpetuate the system and the feelings maintained by their designs.
