👼🏻 April 7 - Beauty, Motherhood, and Love

🕊️This day traces its roots to the Feast of the Annunciation — that sacred moment when the Angel Gabriel brought the divine message to the Virgin Mary. It’s from that quiet, holy encounter that April 7 became the symbol of motherhood, grace, and the very beginning of life.

✨After all, the most lasting beauty is the kind that’s felt, not seen - and no one carries that more naturally than a mother.

Քրիստոս հարյավ ի մեռելոց,
Օրհնյալ է հարությունը Քրիստոսի:

🐣Happy Easter!

In Armenia Easter is called “Zatik”. The word is deeply connected to the idea of renewal and spiritual rebirth.

🕊️The celebration follows a period of Lent - a time of fasting, prayer, and reflection - leading up to a joyful Easter feast. Families gather, attend church services, and share traditional foods. One of the most recognizable customs is the coloring of eggs, especially red eggs🥚 symbolizing Christ’s resurrection and new life.

🌱Beyond its religious meaning, Zatik is also a cultural celebration of spring, family unity, and the return of light and nature.

📚Happy Book Giving Day.

✍️ Celebrated on the birthday of Hovhannes Tumanyan, this day encourages us to value reading and share the power of books.

📕Give a book.
📖 Share a story.

Because a book is more than a present - it’s knowledge, perspective, and culture passed from hand to hand.

🇦🇲 Today we celebrate Trndez (Tyarnndaraj) - one of Armenia’s most beautiful and ancient traditions, preserved by the Armenian Apostolic Church.

⛪ Observed on February 13–14, forty days after the Nativity of Christ, this sacred feast commemorates the Presentation of the forty-day-old Jesus at the Temple - the “Meeting of the Lord”.

🔥 The heart of the celebration is the bonfire.
Couples - especially newlyweds - jump over the flames together as a symbol of love, unity, purification, renewal, and blessings for a strong future.
