TYV is a voluntary project involving the young people of Gjirokastra. The volunteers design one to two hour Tours in the city of Gjirokastra. Each of the tours is prepared by two volunteers on a theme that they chose themselves : The old city tour, Gjirokastra as an Ottoman city tour, The traditions of Gjirokastra tour, etc.The Tours take place every week, based on a regular schedule, during the p
eak tourism season. These tours are in English. They are aimed for foreign tourists who do not know much about the city of Gjirokastra or even the country of Albania. The tours are given in an informal way. The idea is not to tell everything about Gjirokastra but to present another point of view to visitors.
