Louis, Missouri and Jakarta, Indonesia, yo_cy mines cultural contexts for patterns, materials and craft practices to create innovative designs. yo_cy integrates this contextual content with cutting edge design and fabrication technologies to create culturally embedded, affective work. By combining labor intensive acts in craft culture with rule-based, digital frameworks these projects multiply the everyday to intensify space.

Christine Quoted in the straits times discussing the Fall Introduction to Design course at SUTD which groups students from engineering software and architecture in groups to create prototypes and narratives about near-future design possibilities. Christine coordinated to course which is a requirement for the entire 350-student first-year course.
