MUST-VISIT LOCATIONS IN CHONGQING 🇨🇳
Starting point: Regent Chongqing 重庆丽晶酒店
Chongqing feels like a real-life cyberpunk city. Here are some of the places that make it so unique:
📍 Liziba Monorail Station 李子坝轻轨站
15 min from Regent
The famous monorail literally passes through a 19-storey residential building, with the station built inside it. It looks like CGI, but it’s part of everyday life in Chongqing.
📍 Kuixinglou Square 魁星楼
10 min from Regent
You can feel like you’re standing on the ground floor, then walk a few steps and suddenly find yourself around 20 floors above the street below. Real 8D Chongqing.
📍 Hongyadong 洪崖洞
10 min from Regent
One of Chongqing’s most iconic places. Visit it both during the day and at night - two completely different atmospheres.
📍 Deyi World Plaza 得意世界商业广场
12 min from Regent
Neon signs, giant screens, skyscrapers and crowds. One of the best places to experience and film Cyberpunk Chongqing.
📍 Old Ding Barbecue 丁老头烤肉
20 min from Regent
BBQ from an elevated panoramic viewpoint over the city. Come before sunset and watch Chongqing slowly light up after dark.
📍 River Terrace 两江吧
Inside Regent Chongqing
River views, skyscrapers and a futuristic skyline in a luxury atmosphere, without even leaving the hotel.
📍 International Land-Sea Center 重庆陆海国际中心
15 min from Regent
The tallest building in Chongqing, almost 460 meters high. One of the best places to feel the incredible scale of this vertical megacity.
Why Regent Chongqing?
Chinese aesthetics, contemporary design, river views and skyscrapers all around you. Even after returning to the hotel, you still feel completely immersed in Chongqing.
For me, Regent wasn’t just a place to stay - it became part of the Chongqing experience.
