Li Dongxia initiated and directed the Chinese new year gala in Dubai as a not-for-profit project since 2015. During this time, Li had also organized many Sino-Arab cultural exchange activities and events including exhibitions, lectures, language classes, and performances.

Li is Chairman of the Overseas Chinese Calligrapher Association, and has led calligraphy classes for the local Chinese community for many years that are free to attend.
 
In 2017, Li organized “Global Overseas Chinese Dubai Cultural Flash Mob” in front of Burj Khalifa that brought over 1000 overseas Chinese from 32 countries to Dubai.
 
In 2019, she organized “ Millennium Appointment, Ink Dancing in Dubai: Global Chinese Calligraphy & Painting Grand Exhibition” 500 artworks were exhibited and 300 renowned calligraphy artists from 77 countries jointly created 2x100 meter long calligraphy painting in the middle of Dubai’s desert.  
 
Li is also an awarded calligrapher for her own artworks and her calligraphy has been exhibited around the world. Several of her calligraphy works have been inscribed in stone across different provinces in China.

Li is also Chairman of Chinese Qipao National Dress Association, Chairman of UAE Chinese Calligraphy Association, Chief Director of CNY Gala Performance Organization Committee, Honorary President of UAE Chinese Women’s Association, and Honorary President of Jiangsu Province Entrepreneurs Association.
