Five years ago, during the darkest months of COVID, I began writing a novel — a love letter to India, and what would become one of the most intense, exhausting and beautiful projects of my life.

At the time, I had a wild dream that I might one day launch it in Jaipur, at one of the world’s most iconic literary festivals.

Somehow, that dream is now becoming a reality.

I’m incredibly proud to share that the book will be published by the incredible team Hachette India, and that I’ll be Jaipur Literature Festival in January to launch it.

This story has nothing to do with magic or mentalism, and everything to do with a very personal chapter of my life — and the burning passion that I’ve felt for India since I first arrived as an 18-year-old traveller.

If you’re anywhere near Jaipur in January, or attending the festival, I would love to see you there.
