4,000 drones split across two locations. One citywide story, “told” twice.

To mark 20 years of leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, DAMAC Properties turned Dubai’s skyline into a shared tribute, visible across the city and impossible to miss.

Cyberdrone flew two synchronized drone shows simultaneously over Skydive Dubai and Safa Park, with 2,000 drones at each site. The performance was repeated later the same evening, multiplying its reach across time, locations, and audiences.

Large-scale aerial portraits, clear symbolic forms, and precise synchronization transformed the sky into a viral canvas, designed not for a single crowd, but for an entire city and millions watching beyond it.

This is what city-scale storytelling looks like and this is how modern brands engage audiences while creating lasting value for the city.

Above , Cyberdrone delivered a 1,500-drone light show for the closing celebration of the DP World Tour Championship. Over 16 minutes, the performance traced the evolution of golf in the Middle East: from its early days on desert fairways to Dubai’s rise as a global destination for championship play. Every movement in the sky was synchronized to a cinematic soundtrack and voice-over, precisely aligned through timecode technology to ensure that light, sound, and motion unfolded as one seamless story.

The DP World Tour Championship has long been one of the region’s premier sporting events, welcoming the top 50 players from the Race to Dubai standings and drawing global attention to the UAE. Thousands of spectators on-site and millions watching worldwide witnessed a moment designed to be felt.

Projects like this demonstrate how live events are evolving, where technology becomes a storytelling tool, sustainability meets spectacle, and the sky itself turns into a platform for shared experience.

We were honored to be part of a special awarding ceremony recognizing and celebrating the dedicated employees of Etihad Rail—the people driving one of the UAE’s most strategic national infrastructure initiatives forward.

The event highlighted the collective effort, expertise, and commitment behind the development of the country’s rail network, acknowledging the teams who continue to shape the future of sustainable mobility in the UAE.

To mark the occasion, a synchronized performance of 500 drones illuminated the sky with dynamic formations symbolizing movement, connection, and forward momentum.

What is DSO?

Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO) is where technology is born in Dubai and it’s where our team is based. This district has become our home, and the place where many of our own developments first took shape.

During Doers Summit, we launched an 800-drone, 11-minute show as a tribute to DSO as an ecosystem that turns ideas into working systems.

The storyline unfolded as a continuous evolution. It began with silicon, the raw element behind everything digital. Silicon condensed into a microchip, which then expanded into a computer, marking the moment when matter becomes a tool. From there, code appeared, the language that gives machines purpose. Intelligence followed, visualized as the next natural step: systems that don’t just execute, but think.

Only after that did the story return to its human core. And with that, the message came full circle: technology evolves layer by layer, but behind every layer are people who build, decide, and move it forward.

For the opening of Kalba Beach Games 2025, held under the patronage of Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi and organised by Sharjah Sports Council, Cyberdrone delivered a 1,000-drone aerial performance above the shores of the Gulf of Oman.

The show unfolded as a visual journey: from the UAE flag, portraits of the rulers, a Welcome to Kalba greeting and the Kalba Clock Tower, to dynamic sports figures: kayaking, beach basketball, volleyball, football, archery and AirBadminton. The finale brought the Sharjah Sports Council logo and the Kalba Beach Games identity into the sky as a single closing signature.

Proud to be behind the lights of one of Sharjah’s flagship sports events. This is how sport and storytelling come together at scale.

Happy UAE National Day 🇦🇪✨

Today the UAE celebrates its journey. As a team that works with light, we feel especially connected to this day: flags on the ground, colors in the sky, and a country that is never afraid to look upward.

For Cyberdrone, the UAE is where many of our ideas first took flight. Here we’ve seen how drone shows can do more than entertain: they can honor heritage, mark bold new projects, and reflect the ambition of a nation that builds the future in real time.

We’re grateful for every chance to add a few pixels of light to this skyline to help turn milestones into moments people remember, and to celebrate the spirit of innovation that defines the Emirates.

All brought to life above Lake Lugano during Plan ₿ Forum 2025, Europe’s biggest Bitcoin and blockchain event.

We’re deepening our presence in Latin America and Corrientes was one of our latest chapters. For the opening of La Unidad Museum (a transformative redevelopment of the former U6 prison), we launched a 300-drone show that spoke directly to the city’s narrative. From Cruz de los Milagros to Virgen de Itatí, every formation was a local symbol giving shape to community, faith, nature, and pride.

For developers and cultural partners, this is what the future looks like:
